Art & Jake's Sports Bar in Lansing, MI seeks a high-energy bartender with excellent communication skills to serve classical and creative beverages, greet customers, learn preferences, answer questions, and upsell menu items.

You will prepare and serve drinks and food, follow recipes, maintain a clean bar, handle stocking and safety procedures, and contribute to a friendly, fast-paced guest experience with a neat appearance and personable demeanor.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of operating standard beverage service equipment safely and effectively.
• Adaptability to a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Decision-making and problem-solving in customer-service scenarios.
• Strong oral communication and listening skills.
• Ability to plan, multi-task, and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provides a pleasant drinking experience to customers.
• Serves drinks while maintaining a clean and sanitary bar area.
• Attends to the detail and presentation of each order.
• Prepares and maintains ingredients by following recipes.
• Adheres to proper alcohol handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Coordinates daily supply inventory for bar and submits orders to supervisor.
