Job summary

Vail Resorts in the United States is hiring a Winter Seasonal Bartender to join one of our mountain operations. You will craft cocktails, pour wines and beer, and create a welcoming experience for guests while upholding our safety and service standards.

Starting pay ranges from $7.21 to $9.77 per hour, with a guaranteed minimum of $20 per hour for tipped positions. This role offers the chance to ski, grow within a premier resort brand, and be part of an iconic mountain community.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of bartending experience.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Make connections with guests and co-workers.
• Share our passion for the mountains during service.
• Follow the leadership's guidelines as outlined during the daily pre-shift meeting.
• Create hot and cold beverages to specifications.
• Prepare the bar for successful operation throughout the shift.
• Maintain a clean and tidy workstation throughout and at the end of the work day.
• Ski/Snowboard out after work (optional + location dependent).
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Must be 21 or over
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time, to bend, lift, and carry objects up to 50lbs

The expected pay range is $7.21/hr - $9.77/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
