Job summary

Vail Resorts is hiring a Bartender for our Winter Seasonal 2026/2027 at our mountain resorts. You’ll craft hot and cold beverages, serve wines and beers, and deliver an exceptional guest experience in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.

No formal experience is required; we train you on essential skills. The role offers a starting wage of $7.77–$12.71 per hour, with tips boosting earnings, housing availability, and access to employee perks including free passes and lodging discounts.

Qualifications

• No formal bartending experience is required; training provided.
• Desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced mountain resort.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.

Job Specifications

• Starting Wage: $7.77/hr. - $12.71/hr.
  • If hired into a tipped position, guaranteed to make a minimum of $20/hour, inclusive of tips
• Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2026/2027
• Shift Type: Full Time and Part Time hours available
• Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age

Job Responsibilities

• Make connections with guests and co-workers
• Share our passion for the mountains during service
• Follow the leaderships guidelines as outlined during the daily pre-shift meeting
• Create hot and cold beverages to specifications
• Prepare bar for successful operation throughout the shift
• Maintain a clean and tidy workstation throughout and at the end of the workday
• Other duties as assigned

The expected pay range is$7.77/hr. - $12.71/hr.. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
