Job summary

The Lead Bartender at The h.wood Group collaborates with venue management to uphold our standards of service, attitude, and guest experience in a fast-paced environment. The role requires multitasking, reliability, and a lively, professional demeanor to drive beverage programs and guest satisfaction.

You'll manage the bar program, develop cocktail offerings, train new staff, and ensure compliance with local laws while maintaining inventory, opening/closing duties, and guest-centric service

Responsibilities

• Create cocktail and liquor menus in conjunction with venue management.
• Manage the bar and cocktail program to align with venue concept.

• Coordinate weekly ordering in consultation with management.
• Lead beverage training for new hires with venue managers.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
• Maintain bar cleanliness and sanitation.

ROLE SUMMARY:

The Lead Bartender will work closely within-venue management to ensure that the bar is maintaining Theh.woodGroup’s standardsof excellence relatingto attitude, customer service, employee relations, and job performance. The ideal candidate will be an energetic professional whoexcels at multitasking.They are well organized,flexibleand enjoy the challenges of working in a fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Createcocktail and liquor menus in conjunction with in-venue management.


• Manage the bar and cocktail program to ensure alignment with venueconcept.


• Maintain inventory controland receiving all liquor and related supplies in conjunction with in-venue management.


• Coordinate all weekly ordering in consultation with management.


• Lead all new hirebeveragetraining in consultation with in-venue managers.


• Ensure complianceofall local, state, and federal laws and regulations.


• Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the bar and bar equipment.


• Assistin cocktail development for seasonal and trend changes.


• Perform all guest contact activities in a cordial, efficient and professional manner,maintaininga commitment to guest satisfaction.


• Recognize areas for improvement and offer positive solutions for change.


• Handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges areaccurateand returning correct change to patrons, balancing the cash register.


• Perform all opening and closing duties.


• Perform other related duties as assigned.


• Attend monthlymeetingswith beverage director.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have attention to detail and willingness to deliver exceptional customer service.


• Must be able to stand duringentireshift, often up to 8 hours with frequent bending, squatting, and lifting.


• Must be 21+years of age.


• Mustbe authorized towork in the United States.


• Mustbe willing to travel.


• Must have high energy,great communicationskills, and be able to work as part of a team.


• Must be reliable, responsible, and trustworthy.


• Must be able tomaintaina professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.


• Must have excellent time management skills.
