Job summary

Grand Sierra Resort in Reno is seeking an experienced Barista to join our coffee bar team. You will greet guests, present the beverage menu, and prepare espresso-based drinks to standard recipes while maintaining cleanliness and safety. You will also help manage inventory, train new staff, and support seasonal promotions.

Flexibility to work varied shifts, strong customer service, and the ability to work well under pressure are essential. Prior Starbucks experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have previous barista experience or equivalent.
• Must have completed introductory period as a GSR barista.
• Able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes guests and determines coffee interests.
• Educates guests on the coffee menu and answers questions.
• Prepares and serves espresso-based drinks following recipes.
• Maintains equipment and sanitation standards.
• Assists with inventory, scheduling and opening/closing tasks.
