Job summary

Sodexo seeks a Barista I at Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno, NV. You will deliver exceptional customer service while crafting hand-crafted beverages. Shifts vary; full-time or part-time options available.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, preparing coffee and tea drinks, maintaining the coffee bar, cash handling, and ensuring cleanliness; some locations require Starbucks certification.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in customer service.
• Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, and inventory control systems.
• Starbucks Baristas may be required to be certified.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with quick, friendly, and personalized service.
• Mix and serve hot/cold beverages (coffee, espresso, tea, etc.) per customer specs.
• Educate guests on menu offerings and upsell where appropriate.
• Arrange coffee bar supplies for attractive displays.
• Clean coffee machines and prep areas.
• Record sales and handle cash per procedures.
• Must be able to stand/walk for long shifts and lift up to 50 lbs.
