Job summary

Sugar Bowl Resort is seeking a Lead Barista to own the coffee program and guide a small team. You will set standards at the espresso bar, train staff, and manage ordering, par levels, and station hygiene. This role rewards leadership with opportunities to craft signature drinks while maintaining guest-focused service on a resort schedule.

You will work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, ensuring consistent, high-quality beverages and smooth shift operations throughout the resort.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of barista experience, with lead or mentoring experience a plus.
• Passion for delivering great coffee and excellent guest service.
• Willing to train and develop a small team of baristas.
• Ability to manage schedules and oversee station standards.
• Strong attention to detail in equipment upkeep and product quality.

Responsibilities

• Supervise espresso bar setup and breakdown, including satellite locations.
• Assist with ordering and par levels for coffee, dairy, and related products.
• Lead development of signature drinks and seasonal menu updates.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the espresso bar and storage areas.
• Greet guests, prepare beverages to Sugar Bowl standards, and train others.
