You will train and coach baristas, manage scheduling considerations, uphold safety and FIFO, and partner with management to meet sales goals while delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Reliable, punctual attendance and leadership presence on the floor.
• Flexible availability to cover early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Positive, proactive attitude; lead by example and support the team.
• Strong customer service and communication skills for staff and customers.
• Willingness to learn, coach, and develop café skills and knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead the café team to maintain compelling product presentations and efficient cafe operations.
• Coach baristas on customer conversations, improve register speed and accuracy.
• Assist with receiving deliveries, FIFO stocking, and inventory accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards across cafe and bookfloor areas.
• Support loss prevention and create a safe, welcoming bookstore environment.
