Job summary

EastPointe Bakery is seeking a 2nd shift Lead Maintenance Mechanic to oversee maintenance for bakery equipment and systems. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, repair machinery, and document activity in the CMMS.

The ideal candidate will lead a small team, ensure safety and GMP compliance, and work with production to minimize downtime while supporting continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or trade school preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on bakery equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment to minimize downtime.
• Lead and mentor maintenance staff on shift.
• Use CMMS to document work orders and track parts.
• Ensure safe work practices and compliance with GMPs.
