Hy-Vee Bakery is seeking a Bakery Cake Designer to bring customer visions to life, from birthday cakes to wedding cakes delivered and set up on site. You'll use decorating skills, check orders, and coordinate with the bakery team to keep production running smoothly.

This role leads part-time staff, requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and offers on-site work in a fast-paced environment with safety and sanitation standards.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Six months or less of similar or related work experience; training provided.
• Strong decorating and customer service orientation.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting customers and taking orders at the bakery counter.
• Check daily orders, set up timelines, and verify details like size and icing.
• Decorate bakery items and stay current on new designs and trends.
• Develop daily bakery orders for bakers; manage production schedules.
• Lead part-time employees and cooperate with the bakery team to keep production running.
• Maintain sanitation standards and safe, clean work area.
