Job summary

Evans Transportation Services LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead backend development within the Technology Solutions team. You will design, build, and maintain scalable .NET applications, APIs, and Azure-based services powering transportation operations.

You will translate business requirements into production-ready solutions, set technical standards through architecture reviews, and mentor engineers to uphold clean architecture and reliable messaging.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field.
• 7+ years backend development experience with .NET.
• Experience leading technical design, code reviews, and mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend APIs and services with .NET.
• Implement messaging, background processing, and workflow orchestration.
• Develop and integrate Azure resources for scalable backend systems.
• Own items end-to-end in a Kanban-based team with high quality.
• Apply security, data protection, and policies in backend work.
• Collaborate with product, frontend, and integration partners.
• Provide architecture guidance and mentoring to promote clean architecture.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
