Job summary

TALENT Software Services is seeking a Lead Engineer to own the technical direction, architecture, and delivery of scalable, secure web applications in AWS. You will mentor teammates, drive architectural decisions, and lead from prototyping through production, focusing on student-facing tools and high-quality code.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience building scalable web applications in AWS-hosted environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver high-quality, scalable, secure software leveraging modern technologies and cloud-native patterns.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and stakeholders to translate ideas into impactful student-facing solutions.
• Break down new product capabilities into actionable technical changes; prototype and test rapidly.
• Lead by example in code quality, documentation, and operational readiness.
• Mentor peers, conduct code reviews, and coach team members in GenAI applications.
• Advise on tooling and infrastructure to safely deploy Generative AI capabilities.
