Job summary

Lumen is seeking a Lead Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to drive transformational change and operational excellence for Azure Public and Azure Government clouds. You will design CI/CD, observability, and scalable, secure high‑availability services while partnering with development teams.

The role is fully remote within the United States and requires 8+ years in DevOps/SRE with leadership experience, plus strong automation skills in Terraform, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in DevOps/Platform/SRE roles.
• 2+ years leading teams or cross-functional initiatives.
• Deep expertise in Azure (Public/Gov) cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate AKS clusters with guardrails.
• Implement GitOps with Flux CD and Helm standards.
• Own container platform practices: Docker, SBOM, vulnerability scanning.
