Job summary

Peregrine Advisors in Washington, DC is seeking a seasoned software engineer to own the technical design and delivery of a defined application area. You will guide implementation, ensure production quality, and connect components across services in an AWS cloud-native stack.

This role requires seven+ years of experience, a Bachelor's degree, expert Python, serverless development, CI/CD discipline, and the ability to work hybrid with regular commutes into DC.

Qualifications

• Minimum seven years of software development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Expert-level command of Python.
• Strong hands-on experience with cloud-native development on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Proficiency with modern languages and frameworks, and with CI/CD.
• Experience with automated testing and secure coding.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical design and delivery of an application or solution area through production.
• Lead AWS cloud-native development and serverless workflows on Lambda/Step Functions.
• Define API connections and data/document pipelines for integrated systems.
• Guide integration of COTS products with in-house frameworks.
