Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years experience on large/mid-size aircraft.
• 8 years experience in aircraft avionics/electrical field; or two years schooling in aviation electronics and six years related experience.
• FAA A&P license or be able to obtain a repairman certificate within 30 days of start date.
• FCC license or NCATT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, schedules, and completes tasks to meet the master schedule with daily status reports.
• Coordinates Electrical and Avionics to meet aircraft schedules and deadlines.
• Supervises electrical technicians and provides technical guidance on troubleshooting.
• Maintains logs and ensures compliance with procedures and FARs.
• Maintains preventive maintenance program for test equipment and tools.
• Keeps knowledge current on ASC changes and inspection schedules.
• Implements safety programs in hangar and coordinates with other disciplines.
