Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation, a General Dynamics subsidiary, seeks a Quality Assurance/QA Inspector in Brunswick, Georgia. You will lead inspections of aircraft and components, ensuring adherence to FAA/CAA data and documenting outcomes for return-to-service.

The role requires extensive aviation maintenance experience and an active A&P license. You will work with FAA representatives, customers, and cross-functional teams to ensure airworthiness and regulatory compliance, mentoring staff in

Qualifications

10 years aviation maintenance experience (avionics, electrical, and/or mechanical).
4 years of relevant Gulfstream aircraft experience and 4 years of aircraft inspection experience.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate the inspections of aircraft/components to ensure workmanship meets quality standards and returns to service airworthy with proper documentation.
Direct and coordinate inspections of aircraft, engine, and component repairs to FAA-approved data.
Coordinate mechanical, electrical, and inspection requirements during maintenance or outfitting.
Maintain accurate, neat, and legible records of work performed on aircraft/components.
Coordinate with RTS to ensure accurate aircraft records are produced promptly.
Audit maintenance documentation for accuracy and completion prior to return to service approval.
Ensure aircraft/components are airworthy before any flight activities.
Mentor technicians on effective documentation.
