Job summary

Invenergy LLC is seeking a senior AVEVA PI System administrator to own and operate enterprise data integrations across OT platforms, including SCADA, DCS, RTUs, and PLCs, with a focus on reliability and scalability.

The role involves optimizing PI System architecture, building data pipelines, and automating maintenance using Python, PowerShell, and .NET, while mentoring junior staff and coordinating with IT for infrastructure upgrades.

Qualifications

• 5+ years administering enterprise-scale AVEVA PI environments (Data Archives, PI Collectives, AF, Interfaces, Connectors, AVEVA Connect, PI Web API, PI Vision).
• Strong TCP/IP networking knowledge, including troubleshooting communication issues.
• Proficiency with programming/scripting: .NET, PowerShell, Python.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for OT systems with primary focus on AVEVA PI System and data integrations.
• Configure and maintain data collection into the AVEVA PI System from OT platforms (SCADA, DCS, RTUs, PLCs).
• Lead efforts to improve PI System architecture, data integrations, and platform reliability.
