Job summary
S&L Integrated is seeking a Lead AV Technician to lead the installation of audio, video, and lighting systems in commercial venues. The role is on-site in Thomasville, GA, requiring hands-on setup, testing, and calibration to meet project timelines and workmanship standards.
The ideal candidate has 2+ years in commercial AV integration, strong troubleshooting, rack wiring, and blueprint-reading skills. Travel up to 60% and a valid driver’s license are expected, with opportunities to advance
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years in a commercial AV integration environment.
- Ability to wire a full-size rack to company standards.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for installation issues.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics for wiring.
- Experience with low voltage electronics.
Responsibilities
- Set up, test, calibrate, and tune AV systems per scope and timelines.
- Interact with customers to address questions and concerns.
- Train customers on systems as needed.
- Supervise and direct work of other technicians and contractors.
- Provide on-site risk and issue reports to project/region managers.
- Record time spent on each job and report in the tracking system.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
