Job summary

Avidex is seeking an experienced Audiovisual Technician - III to lead AV/IT installations at customer sites in Southern California. You will coordinate crews, install displays, projectors, screens, speakers, and cabling, and ensure work aligns with project plans and quality standards.

You will provide hands-on guidance, troubleshoot on-site issues, read drawings, and collaborate with the project team to meet scope and codes while maintaining a safe workplace.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years in AV/IT installation and field leadership.
• Ability to read construction drawings and technical docs.
• Experience installing and mounting displays, projectors, screens and speakers.
• Must travel to project sites and work irregular hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead field installation crews to stay on schedule.
• Install AV/IT equipment and perform system setup and testing.
• Read project drawings and site specifications accurately.
• Provide hands-on training and mentorship to junior technicians.
• Maintain safe, clean job sites and document field changes.
