Job summary

Torc Robotics is seeking a driven Training Specialist to support the Fleet Training & Compliance programs for IFTD and related safety initiatives. You will develop and deliver training, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement across DOT/Federal requirements.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, 1–3 years of safety training experience, a Class A CDL with 5 years of Class 8 driving, and strong instruction and coaching skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 1-3 years of safety training experience.
• CDL with 5 years Class 8 driving on public roads.
• Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, FMCSA regulations.
• Strong training delivery and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and deliver IFTD training programs.
• Monitor and audit IFTD operations using in-cab data.
• Lead quarterly and annual IFTD requalifications.
• Coach IFTDs based on safety feedback and performance.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and state regulations.
• Apply Smith System training principles.
• Drive autonomous Class 8 trucks when needed.
• Maintain training records and documentation.
