Job summary
EchoStar is seeking a Senior Agentic AI Engineer to join the AI team. This role designs, builds, and brings to production enterprise-grade AI solutions and autonomous multi-agent systems.
The position plays a key role in developing scalable generative AI products that move completely past experimental proof-of-concepts (POCs) to drive measurable business impact. The successful candidate will design and deploy autonomous AI services, integrate MCP/A2A protocols, and architect robust multi-agent
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 5 years of software or data science experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Python and modern cloud AI platforms.
- Experience with microservices architectures and production-grade AI systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy autonomous AI services and multi-agent workflows to production.
- Integrate MCP and A2A protocols for secure agent-to-tool and agent-to-agent interactions.
- Architect hybrid control flows and state machines for reliable multi-step reasoning.
- Ensure runtime safety with sandboxed tool environments and strict egress controls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable microservices.
- Apply SRE principles to agent behavior with robust observability and fallbacks.
