Bridgestone Americas invites applications for a Lead Technician role in McKinney, TX. You will diagnose drivability and electrical issues while mentoring technicians and improving customer care and satisfaction. The position rewards expertise with a flat-rate pay model and ongoing training.

Successful candidates will have strong brakes, alignment, suspension skills, formal training, and a commitment to ASE certifications within two years, with company-supported testing and development.

Qualifications

• Diagnose and repair to specifications across brake, hydraulic, exhaust, fuel ignition and electrical systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses to non-technical customers clearly.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid training.
• Assist and mentor technicians in technical activities.
• Aim to obtain ASE certifications within the first two years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and alignment.
• Explain technical diagnoses and repairs to non-mechanics.
• Stay current with automotive tech through paid training.
• Assist and train technicians in technical activities.
• Pursue ASE certifications (A1–A8) within two years; tests paid by the company.
