Job summary

Bridgestone America, Inc. is hiring a Lead Technician at our Fort Worth, TX location to diagnose drivability and electrical systems and lead a small team to improve customer care and satisfaction.

The role requires knowledge of brakes, alignment, and general auto maintenance, with on-going training and ASE certification support. A daily pay option and competitive benefits are available as part of our compensation package.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid automobile driver's license.
• Skilled in brakes diagnosis/repair.
• Skilled in alignment, steering & suspension diagnosis/repair.
• General automotive maintenance & tire repair.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-technical people.
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain A.S.E. certifications in at least five of A1 – A8 within first two years of employment.
