Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in the United States seeks a Lead Technician with strong diagnostic and repair skills across brakes, electrical, suspension, and A/C systems. You will mentor junior staff and ensure high standards of customer care while maintaining safety and quality.

Responsibilities include explaining complex repairs to customers, staying current with automotive tech through paid training, and pursuing ASE certifications (A1–A8) within two years with company support.

Qualifications

• Diagnose and repair brake, hydraulic, exhaust and electrical systems.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-technical customers.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and mentor technicians in technical activities.
• Aim to obtain ASE certifications (A1–A8) within two years; fees covered by company.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications (brakes, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, A/C, engine controls).
• Explain technical issues to customers clearly.
• Pursue ongoing training and certifications through employer programs.
• Assist and train fellow technicians as needed.
• Achieve ASE certifications in at least three areas within two years; testing costs are company-paid.
