Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, and to mentor a team toward improved customer care and satisfaction. The role offers flat-rate pay per task, with compensation reflecting regional earning potential.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing brakes, electrical systems, suspension, and HVAC, while maintaining ASE certifications and staying current with industry developments.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Skilled in brakes diagnosis/repair
• Skilled in alignment, steering & suspension diagnosis/repair
• Skilled in general automotive maintenance & tire repair
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications across brake, electrical, suspension, A/C.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanics.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within first two years (tests paid by company).
