Job summary

Bridgestone Americas is hiring a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems and lead a team toward improved customer care. The role emphasizes mentoring and completing repairs to Bridgestone standards.

The position requires strong diagnostic skills across brakes, alignment, and suspension, plus the ability to communicate clearly with customers and teammates. The company offers paid training, certifications, and a team-focused environment with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license at all times.
• Skilled in brakes diagnosis/repair.
• Skilled in alignment, steering & suspension diagnosis/repair.
• Skilled in general automotive maintenance & tire repair.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications—brake, hydraulic, exhaust, electrical, suspension and alignment.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with automotive tech through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain A.S.E. certifications in at least five of A1–A8 within first two years (tests paid by company).
