Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license at all times.
• Skilled in brakes diagnosis/repair.
• Skilled in alignment, steering & suspension diagnosis/repair.
• Skilled in general automotive maintenance & tire repair.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications — brake, hydraulic, exhaust, fuel ignition, electrical, suspension, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to customers clearly.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least five A1–A8 within two years.
