Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) seeks a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, while guiding a team toward improved customer care and service quality. Pay range posted: $25.31–$43.51 per hour, with flat-rate pay reflecting productivity and skill.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing brakes, alignment, suspension, electrical, and HVAC systems; training others; and maintaining ASE certifications. Equal opportunity employer; on-site role in Michigan stores.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license at all times.
• Skilled in brakes diagnosis/repair and suspension/steering
• Able to explain diagnoses to non-mechanics and work with training
• Reading, writing and math skills; federal/state Licenses where applicable

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications for brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and A/C systems.
• Explain repairs to customers in clear terms.
• Stay current with automotive tech via paid training and ASE certifications.
• Assist and mentor technicians; obtain/maintain ASE certifications (A1–A8).
