Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Lafayette, IN seeks a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems and lead a team toward higher customer satisfaction. You will mentor technicians, explain repairs clearly, and stay updated with evolving auto tech.

The role offers a $3,000 sign-on bonus for first-time hires and a pay range of $25.13–$57.24 per hour. Flat-rate pay rewards efficiency; Bridgestone supports ongoing training and ASE certifications.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Skilled in brakes diagnosis/repair.
• Skilled in alignment/steering/suspension diagnosis/repair.
• General automotive maintenance and tire repair skills.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications—brake/hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and A/C.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to customers clearly.
• Stay current with automotive tech through paid training.
• Assist and train technicians in technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within two years.
