Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, lead a team, and enhance customer care at our stores. The role uses a flat-rate pay model with an hourly pay range of $25.13 to $48.03 and requires willingness to pursue ASE certifications.

You will mentor technicians, maintain ASE qualifications, and stay current with automotive technology through paid training, with benefits starting day one and opportunities for growth within

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Brakes diagnosis/repair expertise.
• Alignment, steering & suspension diagnosis/repair.
• General automotive maintenance & tire repair.
• Federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications—brake and hydraulic, exhaust, ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to customers clearly.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within first two years of employment.
