Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Irving, TX is seeking a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, while guiding a team toward superior customer care. The role features a sign-on bonus up to $2,000 and a flat-rate pay model from $24.10 to $40.87 per hour, reflecting regional productivity.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Skilled in brakes diagnosis/repair.
• Skilled in alignment, steering & suspension diagnosis/repair.
• Skilled in general automotive maintenance & tire repair.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair brakes, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and A/C.
• Explain technical diagnoses to non-mechanical customers.
• Stay current with automotive technology through formal training.
• Assist and train technicians.
• Obtain/maintain A.S.E. certifications within first two years.
