Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) seeks a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while mentoring a team to deliver enhanced customer care. The position offers a performance-based flat-rate pay model with a regional pay reflection.

The pay range is $26.51 - $49.09 per hour. Bridgestone emphasizes fair compensation and ongoing training, including paid ASE certifications and development opportunities for teammates nationwide.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Skilled in brakes diagnosis/repair and alignment/steering diagnosis/repair.
• Able to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.
• A.S.E. certifications in at least five of A1–A8 within first two years (tests and registrations fees paid by company).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications – brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non‑technical individuals.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain A.S.E. certifications in at least five of A1–A8 within first two years of employment.
