Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems and mentor a service team at a Bridgestone location. You will diagnose to specifications, explain findings to customers, and stay current with automotive technology through paid training.

Qualifications

• Diagnose and repair brakes, hydraulic and exhaust systems.
• Diagnose electrical, ignition, suspension and alignment issues.
• Maintain knowledge of automotive technology through formal training.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-technical customers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Explain analyses and needed repairs to non-technical individuals.
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least five of A1–A8 within first two years of employment.
