Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking a Lead Automotive Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while leading a team to deliver excellent customer care.

Responsibilities include diagnosing repairs, mentoring teammates, staying current with automotive technology, and pursuing ASE certifications. We offer paid training, competitive pay, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license at all times and ability to drive customer/vehicle.
• Skilled in brakes diagnosis/repair and align/suspension work.
• Experience with automotive maintenance and tire service.
• Current federal/state/local certification where applicable.
• Ability to explain technical info to non-technical people.
• Strong reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brakes, electrical, suspension, A/C and more.
• Explain diagnostics and needed repairs to customers clearly.
• Stay current with automotive tech via paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing activities.
• Pursue ASE certifications; company covers tests fees.
