Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while mentoring a team to improve customer care and satisfaction. The role offers a pathway to ASE certifications and paid formal training.

You will work in a hands-on environment, stay current with evolving automotive tech, and contribute to a high-standard service culture across our Bridgestone stores.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license at all times.
• Brake diagnosis/repair skills.
• Alignment, steering & suspension diagnosis/repair.
• General automotive maintenance & tire repair.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications across brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, fuel ignition, electrical, suspension and A/C systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical customers.
• Stay current with automotive tech through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Aim to obtain/maintain ASE certifications (A1–A8) within two years (tests paid by the company).
