Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in the United States is seeking a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while guiding a team to deliver outstanding customer service.

You will mentor technicians, participate in ongoing training, and ensure quality repairs. The role offers competitive compensation, benefits, and opportunities for ASE certification as you grow with Bridgestone.

Qualifications

• Valid driver license and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Skilled in brakes diagnosis/repair.
• Skilled in alignment, steering & suspension diagnosis/repair.
• Skilled in general automotive maintenance & tire repair.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and A/C systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical customers.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications (A1–A8) within two years; tests paid by company.
