Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems and mentor a shop team in Columbus-area locations. You will lead diagnostics, repairs, and quality control while maintaining customer care and safety standards.

The role offers a flat-rate pay model with performance-based earnings, ongoing formal training, and opportunities to pursue ASE certifications within the first two years.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Brake/repair experience and ASE ambitions.
• Ability to explain technical information to non-technical people.
• Plan to obtain ASE certifications within two years.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications: brakes, exhaust, electrical, suspension, A/C.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to customers and teammates.
• Stay current with automotive technology through ongoing training.
• Mentor technicians and assist in shop operations.
