Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) seeks a skilled Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems and to mentor a technician team for improved customer care. You will diagnose and repair multiple systems, explain findings to customers, and pursue ASE certifications with company support.

The role offers a flat-rate pay model with regional variation, a strong focus on training, and opportunities to advance within a nationwide network of stores.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Valid driver’s license; braking system expertise; alignment/suspension expertise; general automotive maintenance and tire repair; ability to convey technical info clearly; basic math/reading/writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair brake, hydraulic, exhaust, fuel ignition, electrical, suspension, alignment, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-technical customers.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Pursue ASE certifications (A1–A8) within two years; tests fees covered by the company; bonus for each test passed.
