Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in the United States seeks a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while guiding a team toward higher customer satisfaction. This full-time role offers a performance-based pay structure and ongoing formal training.

Eligible candidates should have strong brake and suspension skills, ASE certifications or progress toward them, and the ability to communicate complex issues to customers and colleagues alike.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license must be maintained.
• Proficient in brakes diagnosis/repair and alignment.
• Experience with electrical systems and automotive maintenance.
• Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical customers.
• ASE certifications are desirable or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications: brakes, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and A/C.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to customers clearly.
• Pursue ongoing paid formal training to stay current.
• Assist and train technicians in technical activities.
• Aim to obtain ASE certifications within two years.
