Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems and to mentor a team toward higher customer satisfaction. The role emphasizes staying current with evolving automotive tech and providing clear explanations to customers.

Responsibilities include hands-on diagnostics across brakes, exhaust, and suspension, plus training junior technicians and maintaining ASE certifications within two years. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications as listed: valid driver's license and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Skilled in brakes diagnosis/repair and alignment/suspension.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• A.S.E. certifications in at least five of A1–A8 within two years preferred

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications including brake, hydraulic, exhaust, electrical, and suspension systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with automotive technology through formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
