Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while mentoring a team to improve customer care and satisfaction. The role uses a flat-rate pay model to reward expertise and efficiency.

The position requires diagnosing and repairing brakes, alignment, suspension, electrical, and climate control systems, plus ongoing paid formal training and ASE certifications within two years.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications include: valid driver's license; brakes diagnosis/repair; alignment/suspension diagnosis/repair; general automotive maintenance & tire repair; current federal/state/local certification/license; ability to communicate technical information; reading/writing/math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications (brake/hydraulic, exhaust, fuel ignition, electrical, suspension, A/C, computer systems).
• Explain diagnoses and repairs to non-technical customers.
• Pursue ongoing paid formal training to stay current with automotive tech.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain/maintain ASE certifications (A1–A8) within two years; test fees covered by company; bonus for tests passed.
