Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations is seeking a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, and to mentor a team toward greater customer satisfaction. A base pay range of $28.08–$48.66 per hour with a performance-based flat-rate model is described, plus a $3,000 sign-on for first-time hires.

The role emphasizes continuous training, staying current with automotive technology, and training peers while delivering quality repairs.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing and math skills required.
• Valid automobile driver’s license at all times.
• Minimum 5 years of automotive repair experience.
• Vocational-Technical schooling or equivalent certification completed.
• ASE certification in at least 5 of A1–A8 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications for brakes, exhaust, ignition, suspension and more.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-technical customers clearly.
• Stay current with evolving automotive technology through paid training.
• Assist and mentor technicians in performing technical activities.
