The ideal candidate has strong diagnostic skills, the ability to communicate technical information to customers, and a commitment to ongoing ASE certifications and training.

Qualifications

• Brake and hydraulic, exhaust, ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment repairs.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-technical customers.
• Pursue ongoing paid formal training and ASE certifications.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications in brakes, suspension, electrical and exhaust systems.
• Explain repairs clearly to customers and teammates.
• Assist and train technicians; stay current with automotive tech via paid training.
