Job summary

Bridgestone Americas is seeking a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, while leading a team to improve customer care and satisfaction. The role features a sign-on bonus and a performance-based, flat-rate pay structure reflecting regional earning potential.

Responsibilities include diagnosing complex systems, mentoring junior technicians, and pursuing ASE certifications with company-supported training.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license at all times.
• Skilled in brakes diagnosis/repair.
• Skilled in alignment, steering & suspension diagnosis/repair.
• Able to explain technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications – brake and hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and A/C.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within first two years of employment. (Tests and registrations fees paid by company)
