Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Maryland is hiring a Lead Technician. You will diagnose drivability and electrical systems, lead a team, and mentor teammates to improve customer care and satisfaction.

The role uses a flat-rate pay model with a market-competitive pay range and a $2000 sign-on bonus. Requirements include a valid driver's license, strong brakes/alignment skills, and the ability to obtain ASE certifications within two years.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required to operate customer and company vehicles.
• Brake diagnosis/repair skills required.
• Alignment/steering diagnosis/repair skills required.
• General automotive maintenance and tire repair skills expected.
• Reading, writing and math skills.
• ASE certifications are preferred and encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake, hydraulic, exhaust, fuel ignition, electrical, suspension, alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-technical customers.
• Participate in paid formal training and stay current with automotive technology.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Aim to obtain ASE certifications (A1–A8) within two years; tests paid by the company.
