Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations in Sterling Park, TN is seeking a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while using leadership and mentoring to drive a team toward higher customer care and satisfaction.

The role offers a $3,000 sign-on bonus for state inspection-certified candidates, a flat-rate pay model, and a pay range of $27.72 to $49.10 per hour. A.S.E. certifications and active state licenses are encouraged and supported.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience diagnosing brakes, alignment and suspension issues.
• Strong knowledge of automotive maintenance and tire repair.
• Able to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Current federal, state and local certifications/licenses where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications across brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition and electrical systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to customers clearly.
• Stay current with automotive tech through paid training.
• Assist and train technicians in technical activities.
• Pursue ASE certifications (A1–A8) within two years; company covers fees.
• State inspection license is a plus.
