Job summary

Bridgestone America, Inc. is seeking an Automotive Lead Technician in Hinsdale, IL to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while leading a team toward better customer care. The role offers flat-rate pay with region-reflective rates and growth-through ASE training.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing brake, hydraulic, ignition, and computer systems, and mentoring others. A.S.E. certifications and a valid driver's license are required; on-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license at all times.
• Skilled in brakes diagnosis and repair.
• Skilled in alignment, steering & suspension diagnosis/repair.
• General automotive maintenance and tire repair skills.
• Current federal, state and local certifications where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair brakes, exhaust, fuel ignition, electrical and suspension systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and repairs to non‑technical customers.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
