Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, mentor a team, and improve customer care and satisfaction. The role offers a performance-based flat-rate pay structure and opportunities for ASE certifications.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing brakes, electrical, and engine systems, while training junior technicians and maintaining high service quality. High attention to safety and accuracy is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate customer and company vehicles.
• Brake diagnosis/repair and suspension/alignment skills.
• General automotive maintenance and tire repair experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications – brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, steering, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to customers clearly.
• Stay current with automotive technology through ongoing paid training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Pursue ASE certifications (A1–A8) within two years; tests paid for by the company; bonuses for passing tests.
