Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) seeks a Lead Technician in Brookfield, CT to diagnose drivability and electrical issues while mentoring a team to boost customer care and satisfaction. The pay range is $30.42–$59.45 per hour, with a flat-rate pay model reflecting task-based earnings.

The role emphasizes ongoing paid formal training, ASE certification progression, and a commitment to fair compensation in line with minimum wage standards. High-quality service is the core focus.

Qualifications

• Must be able to diagnose and repair brake/hydraulic, exhaust, ignition and electrical systems.
• Ability to explain technical diagnoses to non-technical people.
• Wosters with ongoing paid formal training and ASE certifications within two years.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications for brakes, steering, suspension, electrical, air conditioning and engine systems.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to customers or non-technical staff.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians/mechanics in technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least five of A1–A8 within first two years of employment. (Tests are paid for by the company)
