Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations is seeking a Lead Technician in Brookfield, CT, to diagnose drivability and electrical systems and guide a team toward higher customer care. The role offers flat-rate pay and a path to ASE certifications.

You will diagnose, explain, and repair a range of brake, electrical, and suspension issues, while staying current with automotive tech through formal training and mentoring teammates.

Qualifications

• Diagnose and repair to specifications: brakes, electrical, suspension, and related systems.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to customers in clear terms.
• Pursue ongoing training and ASE certifications as part of development.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension & alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Adeptly explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least five of A1 - A8 within first two years of employment.
